Software for dental practices
A dental practice can be clinically busy and still lose work between the website, the phone, the diary, the recall list and the payment screen. An enquiry waits for a call back. A treatment page still carries last year's wording. Staff bridge the gaps by typing the same details again.
Where it usually goes wrong
The website hands the patient back to reception
A patient has chosen a treatment and is ready to act, but the page ends with a phone number or a generic form. Reception then has to recover the context, find the right appointment and call at a time the patient can answer.
The recall list only works when somebody works it
A list can be accurate and still go quiet. If reminders, replies and rebooking depend on a member of staff moving each patient along by hand, the process slows down whenever the desk gets busy.
Treatment pages drift away from the practice
Prices change, clinicians join, finance terms move and new treatments are added. When every edit needs an agency ticket, the live site becomes a record of what the practice used to offer.
The same patient appears differently in every report
The website, diary, payment provider and reporting sheet each hold part of the story. Staff reconcile them by hand, and a simple question about where an enquiry came from turns into a manual trawl through exports.
